Senior Portraits Charleston – Katie
When it’s time to get your senior portraits in Charleston, you can always count on King Street Studios no matter what the conditions or obstacles come our way. When we started Katie’s portraits the weather was threatening heavy rain and right when we were about to get started, the rain dropped and it dropped hard. Since Katie and her Mom were visiting from out of town, there was no rescheduling, so we looked for the open part of the sky to see where it wasn’t raining and then drove fast to outrun the rain. We ended up in north Charleston on the old naval base. I remembered an old abandoned warehouse that I thought may be a good place to get out of the rain but still get some great portraits that fit her style.
Luckily, once we got started the rain quickly passed that area and we were able to head back outside. The drab gray building worked as the perfect backdrop for Katie’s colorful, fun style and the highlight photographs of her senior portraits above show how I used the area with her clothes and style to compliment each other and make her shine in these unique senior pictures in Charleston.
